The Rankin County Animal Shelter is located at 710 Marquette Road in Brandon, MS. The shelter is open from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday. Animal control officers are dispatched by the Sheriff's Office E911 Dispatch Center. For questions or to have an animal control officer dispatched, use the following contact options:

• If you need an animal control officer dispatched to a location, please contact dispatch at 601-825-1480. Dispatch is available 24 hours a day.
• If you need to contact the shelter about animals we have recovered or have general questions, please contact the Rankin County Animal Shelter at 601-824-2024. Mon - Fri, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
